Nakiyah Hayling was born and raised in NYC and has always been passionate about helping people, writing, and connecting others to resources. Nakiyah is a woman of faith, lover of the arts, and media. She has always endeavored to share knowledge and provide resources for others. Her commitment to understanding passion, purpose, and making dreams a reality is a lifelong one. In 2019 Nakiyah began to make changes to her lifestyle via her physical health. She began learning boxing, fitness regimens, and a new pathway to healthy eating and living. Nakiyah developed a passion for this new journey to optimize her health and wellness. In 2020, during the quarantine, Nakiyah decided to begin learning more about smoothies, shakes, and juicing. After a year of practice, she decided to begin writing about her experiences and share what she learned.  

Nakiyah is a distinguished undergraduate degree recipient of Pace University, and graduate degree recipient of The New School. Nakiyah has written for boutique and national publications like: The Harlem Times, Gospelflava.com, and Essence.com. Nakiyah enjoyed a short stint as a radio segment host for a growing internet radio station. Her segment, “The Pulse”, provided music news for a niche market.  Nakiyah is currently the Director Of Promotions at eOne Music Nashville. She is a part of a phenomenal team  that shines a light on the  Gospel music genre. Nakiyah is also the CEO of a multi-media brand producing consulting agency that serves as the umbrella for her consulting business, e-commerce brand, and literary publishing house. In 2020, during the pandemic, Nakiyah launched her website, www.pivotalmediabrands.com. It’s a hub for all of the above. “New Fuel” will be the first official publication from Culture Shifters Literary.Nakiyah plans to expand her reach in the media world and continues to pursue opportunities to deliver a brand promise of excellence, unprecedented creativity, and cutting edge perspectives

 

Pivotal Media Brands LLC was created by Nakiyah Hayling to serve as an umbrella for a myriad of services and products that she wanted to create. A lifelong writer and inquisitor of life, Nakiyah has always desired to find ways to use her voice unapologetically and unashamedly. Pivotal Media Brands is a multi-media brand producing consulting company that provides fun functional products and services that aim to inspire people from all walks of life.

The term "I'm A Vibe!" is and expression of Pride, Confidence, Inner Strength, Sass, Bravado, Self Love, and Empowerment. Our hope is that those who wear the items with the "I'm A Vibe!" design feel confident, bold, excited, and empowered. We hope that when others see you that it puts a smile on their face and inspires them to view themselves in the best positive light. The use of Vibes is a launching pad for a myriad of phrases and ideas that are expressed on the site. The goal is to promote and encourage good vibes, inner peace, and spiritual strength.
